The Russians have warned Great Britain that if necessary they can disable the British and French nuclear deterrent in just 24 hours. In fact, this particular Russian operation is called “Unthinkable” and its purpose is to force Europe to capitulate with Russia on the issue of Ukraine. According to military expert Dr. Yuri Baradchik, Russia has a benefit to reduce the number of nuclear forces from nine to seven.

“Great Britain’s entire nuclear force, since 1998, has been a fleet of four Vanguard-class nuclear-powered submarines, based in Faslane, Scotland,” it said. “One or two submarines are on standby between Greenland, Iceland and Britain and one or two are in port for repairs and replenishment,” he added.

“Instead of a protracted war of attrition, in one day we deprive France and Britain of their nuclear weapons and destroy all of Europe. We are depriving them of the status of nuclear powers and fundamentally changing the entire security system in Europe,” he said.

“The dilemma can be solved simply – we destroy the nuclear capabilities of Britain and France and give the European Union an ultimatum,” he concluded.
